Flamenco Fiesta

Flamenco for today and forever! Two days full with music and dance that links the past, the present and the future of Flamenco.

The great mystics of Flamenco dance, namely Carmen Cortes, Belen Maya, Rocio Molina, Alejandro Granados and Miguel Angel Berna, meet for a true fiesta on the stage of Lykabettus Theatre. These astonishing artists are framed by excellent musicians and singers, in a unique celebration of Flamenco.



Four dancers, the four elements of nature... On Tuesday June 8 and Wednesday June 9, five exceptional dancers from every corner of Spain and an astonishing guitar ensemble, unfold in front of us the four elements of nature.

Carmen Cortes "dances" for the love, excitement and destruction of fire, while Belen Maya and Rocio Molina represent the flexibility, liveliness and safety of water; Alejandro Granados represents the generosity of the Earth and, with the help of his castanets, Miguel Angel Berna represents the spontaneity, freedom and charm of the air. This dance creation is guided by the gifted guitarist, Gerando Nunez, recognised as one of the greatest names in modern Spanish music, together with his ensemble. In addition, eight astonishing singers and musicians will be there to drift the Athenian public in an unprecedented fiesta of dance, music and passion!
